Situated in the leafy suburb of Parktown North, The National has introduced the new menu inspired by its Texan Reverse Smoker built on Brightside farm.
Designed by James Diack, Chef Patron of The National together with Sachin Gosai, his Sous Chef, new dishes include a daily soup, an Asian-inspired pork belly, chicken and chorizo gumbo, venison bobotie, pulled brisket with a home-made roll for dunking and a warm, saucy malva pudding.
The restaurant is a home-away-from-home with a menu that features a delicious array of smoky Texan, South American and other flavourful dishes to provide rustic comfort to any palate.
The National can be found at 19 4th Avenue, Parktown North and is open for lunch and dinner Monday to Saturday. For bookings, phone 011 327 3030 or email email@example.com.
