If you’re a foodie, or just love a good meal out, then make sure that Thyme @ Royal Palm is on your radar. With a newly curated menu on offer, courtesy of Executive Chef, Guy Gorrie, Thyme @ Royal Palm Restaurant has plans in the pipeline to revive the well-known restaurant’s ethos, by bringing fresh and new ideas to the table.
According to General Manager, Simon Bailey, “the team and I have spent much time assessing the food offerings in the greater Umhlanga area, and chatting to people located in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, gaining their insight into what they’re really looking for.”
Following this research, Thyme @ Royal Palm has launched their Curry Nights, every Wednesday night, and if you love to savour the tastes and aromas of a perfect curry, then it’s a must!
The buffet features mutton curry, chicken curry, vegetable curry and butter chicken (for those who don’t do the heat), complete with the trimmings of dhal, poppadum’s, roti, and an exotic array of sambals and other condiments, all for just R179 per person.
The restaurant’s daily menu currently offers a fusion of contemporary dining sophistication and plans are afoot to launch a supper club, a ladies night, wine and whisky tastings, as well as comedy evenings, to be hosted in the adjacent conference rooms.
Located on the lower level of Royal Palm Hotel, on the Palm Boulevard, Thyme @ Royal Palm is set to become a hot-spot for Umhlanga diners, offering an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere, where restaurant goers can enjoy the ambiance of the newly renovated outdoor courtyard chill lounge area, located through the restaurant’s stacking doors.
Join in the fun at the Curry Nights for now, and look out more special events evenings coming soon!
