“e.tv is proud to be broadcasting yet another exciting season of Ultimate Braai Master. The award winning show will give our viewers an introspective look into our unique cooking culture while exploring the magnificent landscape of South Africa,” says Marlon Davids, MD of e.tv Channels Division.
The teams were selected from thousands of hopeful contestants that auditioned for the show. They will be expected to creatively come up with braai dishes that will wow the judges and inspire viewers.
Contestants travelled to tourist attractions like the Drakensberg Mountains, Gatmoos River in the Eastern Cape, Letsatsi Game Lodge in the Free-State and Wavecrest Hotel& Spa in the Wild Coast of Eastern Cape among others.
This season will see teams engage in different outdoor activities while braaing their hearts out. The teams will explore extraordinary methods of surviving and consuming food prepared entirely on the fire.
Viewers also get a chance to win prizes up for grabs. The Ultimate Braai Master is deemed the toughest cooking show and challenges traditional braai methods, calling for contestants to be creative.
