Sun City will be hosting the first Concours in South Africa from 09 until 11 September 2016. The Concours d’Elegance has its roots in 17th century France, when the aristocracy would parade their horse-drawn carriages through the parks of Paris.
The Concours South Africa will bring together the finest classic, luxury and sports vehicles from around the country. For the first time about 150 of the most prized collector cars will roll onto the lawns of Sun City, the home of Africa’s Major.
Tire meets turf and transformation occurs: the stage is set for one of the most prestigious and competitive events in the automotive world. The occasion is Concours SA hosted by Sun City.
In addition to vehicles parading in their finery, car owners and their partners will be encouraged to dress in chic attire appropriate to the nature of their vehicle. Think J&B Met meats the horseless carriage.
Spectator entrance is free, Concours South Africa providing petrol heads of all persuasions to view the country’s most mouth-watering cars even if they are unable to take part in the Concours or Show and Shine.
