Emperors Palace will be hosting the inaugural Food and Fragrance Festival at its D’oreale Grande hotel from 07 to 08 May 2016. The festival promises delicious samples of dishes from top foodies, local wineries and breweries, complemented by live entertainment.
Visitors will be able to indulge their taste buds with signature dishes and appetizers from some of the most popular chefs and food chains including Doppio Zero, Long Tom Foods, The Oyster, Rolling Rooster, Snorting Boar, Piza-e-Vino, Growler Brewing Co. and Mad Giant.
Children are in for a sweet treat with Dipped and Dusted Chocolate Workshops where they can set free their inner chocolatiers. At these workshops children can create handmade goodies using molds, melted chocolate, sprinkles and more.
Foodie lovers and wannabe chefs will be thrilled to know that food blogger, author and TV host, Sarah Graham, will entertain visitors with a one hour interactive cooking class in the Chef’s Theatre.
Some of the exclusive concepts of the festival include aroma theatres, scent tunnels and scent hunts. In the aroma theatres, visitors will be able to experiment and blend their own fragrant diffusers and perfumes.
The scent tunnels promise to be an out of this world sensory adventure with whiffs and sounds of elements such as Mother Nature, the earth, fragrant grass, birds, the beach, pina coladas and crashing waves.
There will also be beauty treatments, trinkets and treats in abundance for mothers by best-of-breed brands, cosmetic houses and perfumeries. In addition, there will be ongoing amusement for kids, fun play areas and scent hunts that will reward them for tracking down and identifying favourite smells.
