Bushmans Kloof Wilderness Reserve & Wellness Retreat will once again be hosting a series of culinary events this winter from 27 May until 10 July.
The first event will be held in association with South Africa’s oldest wine farm, Groot Constantia.
Nestled in the fertile Constantia Valley, the 330-year-old wine estate stands as a pinion of excellence for the wine industry, and is an ideal example of the preservation of South African culture and heritage.
Bushmans Kloof’s second Food and Wine event will combine gastronomic pleasures with a selection of Cederberg’s finest vintages.
Cederberg Private Cellar, officially known as South Africa’s highest winery, lies between Citrusdal and Clanwilliam – with two mountain ranges separating the farm from the Olifants River.
Delaire Graff Estate, a world-leading destination for wine, art and hospitality in an unrivalled setting on the crest of the panoramic Helshoogte Mountain Pass in the Stellenbosch Valley, takes centre stage for the third event.
The 2016 series concludes with a taste of the very best in food and wine pairing at the Bouchard Finlayson weekend, thanks to the joint gastronomic forces of Bushmans Kloof’s culinary team and renowned winemaker Peter Finlayson – South Africa’s ‘Pinot Pioneer’.
