Le Venue Restaurant at The House of J.C. Le Roux has introduced the new summer menu. Guests can indulge in a variety of dishes for breakfast or lunch in the stylish restaurant.
For early birds, the breakfast menu offers a mouth-watering selection, including the vineyard breakfast of pan-fried cocktail tomatoes, button mushrooms, bacon, mini rosti, chipolatas and scrambled egg.
For the health conscious, the breakfast tapas is the perfect combination of Bulgarian yoghurt, mixed berry compote and homemade granola, fruit skewers with gypsy ham, paté and biltong butter.
Other breakfast favourites include wild mushroom frittata, bacon and camembert omelettes, eggs Benedict and French toast.
If lunch is on the cards, your meal will definitely be off to a good start with oysters in Maldon sea salt and lemon, Thai-marinated or Bloody Mary for the more adventurous.
A bevy of main course choices are available from Portuguese chicken club sandwich, honey-glazed pork belly, parmesan and herb encrusted Norwegian salmon, a bubbly beef burger or char-grilled sirloin steak to a vegetarian option of seasonal vegetable wraps.
Guest can end their meals on a sweet note with Dulce de Leche cheese cake, chocolate and peanut butter cake, an ice cream trio, or vanilla pod crème brûlée. Or try a platter of local farmhouse cheese served with preserves and fresh fruit.
