Vaal Racecourse will be hosting the R1-million Supreme Cup and Supreme Prawn Festival on 26 September, bringing the racing and culinary experiences together.
Racegoers will enjoy among others, kilograms of prawns, beer garden, live music and world class horseracing. Children’s entertainment will also be provided.
Other hospitality options include self-catering picnic sites with chairs, tables and access to braai area. The sites can host up to 20 people per site.
A fully catered picnic sites are also available for a maximum of 10 racegoers. This includes tables, chairs, linen and a fully prepared braai menu including chicken, steak and boerewors, pap, sauce and salads – the perfect option to celebrate Heritage month.
Gates open at 11am and entry to the racecourse is free.
